FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Depending on the package you select, you will receive anywhere between 15-30 edited photos.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Nap time. We want to ensure baby is well fed, happy and ready to snooze. We want the environment to be the perfect temperature, sound level and location to provide the best possible photos.

How should we dress for our family session?

This is one of the most common questions. We've heard from past clients that Pinterest and other social media has been helpful. My go to advice is to have three base colors to build the outfits on. You wear what's comfortable for you and makes you feel the most confident. Be you! Sports, wear your gear. Those kids have a favorite pair of polka dot galoshes, bring them! It's not about perfect for a pose, it's about being who you are!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Absolutely. The truth is, not many people do. My job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Play games, listen to music, go about your time with me as if I wasn't even there. Those candid shots make for the best photos. When everyone is posed, it looks that way, POSED. We want you feeling relaxed and in your element. For those specific photos you need to be posed, leave that to us. Don't worry about your hair, what to do with your hands or how to smile so it's not awkward. Make it fun, not stressful.
